| As part of the on-going improvements to the Geomodeller technology, a systematic analysis of the dual kriging system using principal components analysis shows that the structrual data is many orders of magnitude more significant, whilst interpolating. A switch to Cholesky away from Gauss Elimination also results in a time saving of around 75% on this aspect. Further work on time savings and memory useage is on-going. Tapering of the influence of contacts is being looked into. The effect fo covariance Range on the geology surfaces frequency content is also being characterized. |
